The foundation stone of Miri Piri Khalsa College, Bhadaur was laid by S. Sukhvir Singh ji Badal, Hon’ble Deputy Cheif Minister of Punjab on 29 January, 2009 with marathon efforts put in by S. Baldev Singh Chunghan, member of SGPC. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib, under the visionary leadership of Jathedar Avtar Singh Ji and with untiring efforts and passion of Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Director of Education, has established this Institution with high and noble aspirations. SGPC has opened hundreds of educational institutions to spread the divine message of Sikhism along with high quality education to the youth of Punjab and nearby states. This college will cater to the educational needs of this area and also provide leadership in the field of Sikh ethics combined with cultural and literary activities. The college will provide hi-fi facilities to the students for higher education as well as competitive exams like Civil Services and Banking Services etc. The college has high quality infrastructure to meet the best standards in terms of building, landscaping, furniture and curriculum related infrastructure like labs/library/computers.
